Kimberli Woodard, DPT
Kimberli graduated from the University of the Pacific where she received her degree in 2006. Kimberli has focused on outpatient physical therapy, working in San Diego and in the Chico area prior to joining our team in 2012. Kimberli has focused on manual therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting and continues her education through various continuing education programs.
Gillian Mistrot, DPT
Gillian grew up in Willows California and is excited to be back in her home town treating the local residents. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis in 2010. Before earning her Doctorate she previously worked here at Willows Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Aide. In 2014 Gillian received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and rejoined our team in August. Her primary focus is outpatient orthopedics and she enjoys working with a variety of clientele. During her free time Gillian likes to stay active by participating in softball, tennis, and running.
Shauna O’Connor, PT, DPT
Shauna is from Rapid City, South Dakota. She attended Black Hills State University and received her Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2010. She continued to the University of South Dakota where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013. Prior to moving to Chico in 2017, she worked at a small hospital in South Dakota where she treated patients with various conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and wound care in the outpatient, inpatient, and long term care settings. Through her experience, she learned to love the outpatient setting and the variety it offers. She enjoys getting to work with patients and help develop a treatment plan that is best for them and their individual needs. She is excited to join Willows Physical Therapy and looks forward to bringing her experience to Northern California. In her spare time she likes to hike, explore Northern California, and spend time with her family.
Mindy, PT Tech
Mindy is a recent graduate from CSU Chico with a Bachelor’s of Exercise Physiology. She is from San Diego, CA and transferred to CSU Chico from a local community college back in 2013. Mindy’s interest in physical therapy came about after having two wonderful experiences at physical therapy when she tore her right ACL in 2006 and her left ACL six years later in 2012. She is currently going to Butte College, taking prerequisite PT courses to apply to obtain her doctorate of physical therapy. Her duties as an aide include assisting the therapists in directing proper exercise techniques, sets and repetitions. Mindy loves getting to know the patients, and uses their interests to help motivate them in physical therapy by helping them realize why it is beneficial in their everyday lives. Her hobbies include running, hiking, overall adventuring, listening to podcasts, and making custom wood-burned cutting boards.
Megan, PT Tech
Megan is from Coarsegold, a small town near Yosemite National Park. She transferred to Chico State to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation in June of 2017, she will move to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University’s School of Physical Therapy, where she will get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Megan loves helping patients make safer and faster improvements by ensuring they use proper from with their exercises. In her free time, Megan enjoys staying active through hiking, yoga, and lifting weights. She is also a lover of books of all kinds and is always open to recommendations.
Connie is a native to Willows. She is a happy wife and mother of two adult daughters. Connie has worked in Education and Health & Fitness for over thirty years. She enjoys working at Willows Physical Therapy because of the positive work environment.
